Working With Computers:

Do’s:

Provide foot supports, anti-glare filters, tiltable screens and adjustable chairs for employees. This is because they will need to feel relaxed and not cramped for spaced. This is because they will be stuck in the sane place for a long period of time. Also make sure there is a near by water dispenser so the employees can have a drink to make sure they are hydrated.

Don’t:

Make sure the areas for the employees are not cramped and this is because they will need space due to them being stuck in the sane area for long periods of time. Make sure no liquids are near any of the electronics and this is because it can break the electronics or even cause a fire if liquids are spilt on them. Make sure the employees are not being too loud and this is because other people will be working.

 

Using Art Equipment:

Do’s:

Make sure there is protective equipment such as goggles, ear plugs, etc and this is to make sure that the employees are protected if there is any dangerous substances. Make sure that all of the art materials that are not in used are stored and the ones that are used are used with care and are stored away after they are used.

Don’t:

Make sure anyone that are using scissors are holding them face down when they are walking around with them. Do not let anyone mess around if there is any dangerous environments that the people are working in, this is because you do not want any of the employees or students to get injured while they’re working.

 

Working In A Classroom/Studio Space:

Do’s

Make sure the classroom is big enough for all of the students can fit in and this is because you don’t want to be cramped and limited with space, you also need to make sure that there is enough chairs and tables for all the students to be able to sit at. This is because you cannot have them standing up for too long as it can then ache their legs. In a studio make sure the desk is clear of anything and this is because you need to make sure that you only have what you need on the desk, this is to make sure the chances of any spillages are to a minimum.

Don’t:

Do not have food and drink on the studio desk with all of the equipment and electronics, this is to make sure that no fire can be caused due to spillages. In a classroom make sure there is no running and this is to make sure that no one trips over a hits their head. This can also be done by making sure all chairs are tucked in under the table and bags under the table and this is because this makes it so there is no trip hazards. If in a science classroom make sure that all the equipment has regular checks to make sure they’re safe and make sure that they’re put away in the correct area when they are finished being used.
