I decided to do some research on the Audio production in games and this is because I needed to get a complete idea on what it was and what it is used for. I then created a mind map and found out a lot of things that can very very helpful later on in the project. This is because I have a lot of knowledge on the sounds in games and what they used for and how they can be used. This has been good information and this is because it gives me a good idea on what can be implemented into a game if I chose to create one later on in the assignment, it also has been useful because it has given me a further insight on what are diegetic and what are non-diegetic sounds in games.

I then went on to create a moodboard which has one non-diegetic sound and the rest diegetic, this is because I could not think of any examples to do for the non-diegetic. Although I have had a good insight on a lot of different types of sounds and sources of sounds because of this research and this can be very helpful later on. I can use this later on in the project to help me decide on what sounds that I am going to put inside of my game, for example it’s given me a further insight on vehicle sounds as well as sound that are inside of buildings, for example the cantina band from lego star wars. As well as this I have learned other sounds that can be on radios in game, for example the pip boy that has a radio in Fallout 4.
