Mind Map:

I did some research on the visual production in games and I have learned quite a bit that I did not already know, this is good because I know have a wide range of knowledge when it comes to the visual production, this will be extremely helpful later on because I will know how to implement these into a game and how they can be used effectively. This information has been useful as it allows me to create a moodboard on some of the aspects, such as the graphics which can be done in a realistic style which look really good and not odd at all. There is also the option to create a cartoon game which involves the game need needing a lot of details in the assets.
Mood-board:

I then created a moodboard to do with the visual production and this is to show the different types of art styles that are in games, for example Crysis 3 (Top Mid Pic) has a really realistic art style and compared to Fortnite (Bottom Left Pic) which has a cartoon styled art. This knowledge that I have gained from this research can be very helpful later on and this is because I will know the different types of art styles that are used. I can use this to chose what style I want my game, as in if I want it to be a cartoon styled or if I want it to have a realistic styled game. There are positives with both of these options, the more realistic styled games are harder to create as they need more detail but they end up looking really good, whereas the cartoon styled games do not need a lot of detail and they can be fun to play at times.
